The Colonial style timber frame barn is beautiful in its simplicity. The colonial offers a symmetrical roof line providing a uniform height throughout the inside, and the outside of the barn.


Gambrel timber frame barns have a symmetrical roof line with both sides having a duel-slope. The upper roof is more flat to maximize headroom, and the lower roof is quite steep. This lower steep roof provides for a fully useable second story.
