4worldlovers: We’ve made big changes to the Fairgrounds to improve traffic. Starting 2023, park first then pay to enter.

Visitors to the Harwinton Fair will no longer need to stop and pay to enter at the main gate on Locust Road. We have installed interior fencing, multiple ticket booths and entrance gates to allow visitors to immediately enter the Fairgrounds, park their vehicle and then walk to one of the ticket booths and entrance gates.

We hope that this change reduces traffic and allows you to spend more time enjoying the Harwinton Fair!

The Harwinton Agricultural Society would like to thank Supreme Industries, Schultz Corporation, Tidy Services, W.I. Clark, Core Event Planning, Friendship Baptist Church of Litchfield, Bigos Farm and all of the exhibitors and volunteers for helping make the Harwinton Fair successful. Thank you!

The Association of Connecticut Fairs, Inc. awards three (3) scholarships of $1,000.00 each to a graduating high school senior or a current college student to assist them with their education at an accredited institution of higher learning. Applications due by May 15th.

The Harwinton Agricultural Society annual scholarships are available to all students who have worked or exhibited at the Harwinton Fair without discrimination as to race, color or creed. Applicants must be residents of Connecticut, and be enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning. Previous recipients may also apply.

Two scholarships of $1,500 each will be awarded annually to a graduating high school senior or a current college student. One scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a course of study in agriculture, family & consumer science, or a related field during the next academic year. The other scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a course of study in any field during the next academic year.

To apply, please complete and return the Harwinton Agricultural Society Scholarship application form by June 30 of the application year.
