Daniel Spielman's research interests include the design and analysis of algorithms, graph theory, machine learning, error-correcting codes and combinatorial scientific computing. His focuses on the development of extremely fast algorithms for large computational problems often found in machine learning, scientific computing, and optimization. His work has broad application in the transfer of digital information.
