Successful 2nd CGS Sec. 8-4c Land Use Commissioner Training by NVCOG! On September 30, 2023, 30+ land use commissioners joined us for a 4-hour session at the Veterans Memorial Hall in the City of Waterbury Mayor's Office.

The event equipped commissioners with tools and insights for navigating complex land-use decisions and provided a platform for networking and idea exchange.

Introducing the Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program – a $5 billion initiative from the Inflation Reduction Act to combat climate change. Each of the 19 municipalities NVCOG serves falls into one of the four planning areas designated for Connecticut under the program. This historic climate investment infuses our state with millions of dollars to plan for reducing greenhouse gases.
