Their petition was successful, and Brass City Charter School (BCCS) opened its doors to 114 students in grades Pre-K through 1st that fall in the former St. Margaret’s School building. In J

BCCS provides a free education to Waterbury children in grades Pre-K through 8th. This year we graduate our first 8th grade class. Total enrollment is 360 students.

CAW is a unique school in that the children have a family away from home in the learning environment. Each and every person they have contact with, each teacher in the school, secretary, nurse, principal...knows each and every child by name and watches out for them throughout their day. They don't just teach an amazing STREAM education but they monitor each child's involvement to be sure that they are engaged in the learning process.
