I could not be more pleased with the installation of my shower enclosure. I had to have measurements taken twice after the first time as we made some changes which were not incorporated in the first reading. We got an appointment right away to re-measure the enclosure. The whole process from the first appointment to the final installation took about 2.5 weeks which was amazing since some other vendors we contacted wanted to take that long just for the first appointment. The installers left the place spotless and the new enclosure looks beautiful and is water tight. I highly recommend Glass Express for their work and work ethics.


Went in to have a piece of glass replaced in an old wood window sash (I had removed the sash and brought it with me). They quoted $180 – which kind of shocked me, but I didn’t have time to shop around. On the plus side, they completed the work quickly, within a day. Unfortunately, the glazing is lumpy and sloppy. When picking it up, I was also informed that they charge another 4% to use a credit card. As the saying goes, you can sheer a sheep many times, but can only skin him once. Edit: added a photo of the sloppy glazing. I am aware that it takes time to dry, and was sure not to touch it. The dry time has nothing to do with the sloppy work. While I did accept the initial (very high) price, it was largely because I didn’t have time to drive around. Had the work been cleaner and I not received another surprise 4% upcharge for using a credit card, my review would have been different.
