In awe, his mouth wide with a big Whoaa each time panditji started folding the paan and transforming a leaf into an impeccable cone of succulent flavors. He slowly fell in love with the art of making paan, little did he know he will be lucky enough one day to be able to pass along the magic of an authentic paan to a fellow paan lover in a different city, a different country and a different continent altogether.

Pursuit of further education in Accounting & Finance brought Ankit to New York in 2003. The foodie in him set out to now explore a decent Paan from Jackson Heights to Manhattan to Jersey, but to his dismay nothing came close to the standards of Paan he was spoilt growing up. Dejected, but not defeated on his next visit to India he made sure to learn the basics and get all the recipes from the very dear Panditji ji, and obviously as a parting gift, Panditji ji presented him with a goody bag of small quantities of everything that made that out of the world paan!

The Present: For almost a decade through 2015 his main focus to selfishly satiate his and his dad’s urge for a good Paan. Life was good with the paans that were perfected over the last decade.
