Today’s Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home celebrates an iconic legacy every day. We honor our founding by Anthony D. Lacerenza in 1926. My grandfather, Richard D. Lacerenza’s immeasurable leadership for over 65 years cannot be overstated. I have the honor to now direct this business into its fourth generation.

Both the Lacerenza and Macari families have made great contributions to the Stamford area over the years. I am proud to represent them here in our hometown and throughout Connecticut.

She was born on February 6, 1992 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Jimmie Johnson, Sr. and Marcell Preston. She graduated as a medical assistant from Porter & Chester Institute. Leathia was a fierce woman, holding fast to her beliefs, defending those she loved with commitment. She was previously employed with Stop & Shop. Michael Ronald Keels, 64, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 19, 1959 in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late Edward Keels, Sr. and Josephine Gilmore Keels. He graduated from Brien McMahon High School and the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and continued numerous courses at Norwalk Community College. Michael was employed with the State of Connecticut for a period of time. His favorite hobbies were reading and writing. Christine Seymore entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 17th, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her niece, Cecelia; nephew, John; and dedicated nurse and caregiver, Rookmanis (Helen) Appades. She was 97 years old. Christine was born in Riverhead, Long Island, New York on December 24th, 1925 to her parents Lucille and John Booker. Christine attended the Riverhead Public School System and graduated from Riverhead High School. She worked at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in Queens, New York for over 20 years, initially as an aide and concluded her career there as a Pharmaceutical Technician. Christine married Lewis Seymore on November 28th, 1949 in New York City, New York. Together, they had one son, Richard “Ronnie” Booker. Christine loved to travel, order from various magazines, complete puzzles, and never missed a day of watching her soap operas on CBS. She loved to knit and make quilts. Vivian graduated from Stamford High School located in Stamford Connecticut. Vivian was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Vivian is best known for her sense of humor and ability to tell it like it is. She would often start her conversations of with “What sign are you” and “where are you from” along with her infamous catch phrase “Yeah Baby”.
