The weather may have not cooperated, but the 99th Yorktown Grange Fair was a good time for everyone who attended. Thanks to the entertainers, vendors and patrons who braved the rain, the 2023 fair was truly special.

Friday evening No Options kicked off our musical entertainment with a fabulous show, on Saturday The Knuckleheads really rocked the afternoon. Saturday evening, fairgoers were entertained with an amazing performance by House Arrest. On Sunday, The Whiskey's Edge Band took the stage and the sun came out! Boots were scootin' to their great country tunes!


The kids (and adults) loved Adam Auslander's delightful strolling variety show and the Saturday morning show by Overhill Shenanigans had everyone entertained. Sunday morning, Annie & the Natural Wonder Band captivated young and old alike with songs about our natural world. Annie even led a conga line! One of the happiest sights at the fair was kids rocking their beautiful, creative face paint from A Touch of Colour, one of our long-time vendors who braved the weather to bring joy to the weekend.

East Coast Pro Wrestling was a huge hit, especially on Sunday when they teamed up with Dusty Stables 4-H and rode to the ring on horseback! After the wrestling show, the kids from Street Beatz Dance Studio demonstrated their moves on the blacktop.

There was even lots to do in the rain! The Grange Building sparkled with exhibits.The art show, photography show, woodworking contest, baking contest and needlework contest showcased the talents of our local craftspeople. Beautiful blooms and fresh produce transformed the Mulcahy Building into a delightful garden. Of course, our livestock barns and tents were chock full of charming farm animals. We even had some friendly alpacas!

Educational fun was front and center. Thanks to Bedford Bee for introducing us to agriculture's best friends. Celeste Sherry, Spinner of Wool demonstrated the classic art of fiber spinning in the Education Center Building, where our new historical farm implement exhibit provided a great backdrop. Thanks also to the Master Gardeners Westchester CCE Extension, Teatown Lake Reservation, Westchester County 4H Clubs and Yorktown Garden of Hope for their participation in the fair. And a big shout out to the vendors who literally weathered the storm throughout the weekend including Solider Solutions. Rustic Flags, a Touch of Colour and our incredible food vendors.

Every year the fair spotlights the talent in our hometown with beautiful floral exhibits, local produce, homemade crafts, photography and art, and more. Local farms and 4-H clubs share the joy of getting "up close and personal" with livestock from the area. The fair midway will be humming with games, rides, great food and craft beer. The stage will be rockin' all weekend with music sure to please everyone from the littlest fairgoers to their grandparents.
