We take them in, rehabilitate them, provide housing, vetting, training, and extra doses of love.

PET POLICY: Maximum of 2 dogs per person. Ticket holders, vendors, and nonprofit participants are permitted to bring companion animals. Safety of the animals and people is of the utmost importance at all times. For any animal attending the event, temperament and behavior must be known to withstand a large number of people and activity. Animals must be manageable and safe to have in a crowd of people. Avoid nose to nose contact between animals. Do not force or push any interactions with people, other animals, or children. Remove any cat that is open mouth breathing or any dog that is acting fearful. All animals must be contained via appropriate collar/harness and leash, playpen, or crate. Representatives of Mill River Park and/or Lucky Dog Refuge reserve the right to ask a person to remove the animal from the event if there is any unacceptable behavior, with no refund on the ticket purchase. By purchasing a ticket you agree to keep your animal(s) under full control and release Lucky Dog Refuge and Mill River Park from any liability in regards to the animal’s health and safety. WEATHER: Thunder and/or lightning storms may cause the venue to be unsafe for animals, performers, staff, volunteers and attendees. In the event of thunder and/or lightning, this event will be rescheduled for the RAIN DATE of OCTOBER 21, 2023. Tickets purchased will also apply to the rain date. If the attendee cannot attend on the rain date, the ticket price will NOT be refunded and will be considered a donation. Drink tickets can be purchased separately by those 21 years+ for the Beer Garden. Children's activities will also be available. Sign up your dog for fun competitions throughout the day. Tickets are nonrefundable.

OPIN (Outreach to Pets in Need) was co-founded by shelter volunteers and is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our mission is to promote adoption of homeless animals, and to provide assistance to pets in need through medical treatment, training, and education. We provide solutions to prevent pet homelessness. 4worldlovers: Stamford Animal Control and Care is a division of the Stamford Police Department that enforces all state and city animal control laws and ordinances.

Animal Control is responsible for investigating roaming dog, nuisance pet, animal bites, cruelty to animal, leash law and injured or orphaned wildlife complaints.

Animal Control is also responsible for the adopting of impounded animals.

4worldlovers: Pitter Patter Feline Rescue Inc. is an all-volunteer rescue organization serving lower Fairfield County CT.


Our goal is to reduce the feral cat population and find loving homes for the abandoned and adoptable kittens. We rely 100% on donations, with every dollar going directly to the care and support of the cats.

Our volunteers have a great amount of passion and dedication to the cats we rescue. Our mission for feral cats is the humane approach of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Feral cats are spay/neutered, vaccinated and ear tipped. This benefits the cats and the community. Kittens are spay/neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline disease and provided any medical attention necessary. They are raised in loving volunteer foster homes until ready for adoption.
