Memphis 1975: singer-songwriter, Van Duren is touted as the next Paul McCartney. Managed by Andrew Loog Oldham and playing with Jody Stephens and Chris Bell of Big Star, Van releases one album and then disappears into obscurity. 40 years later two Australian friends find the lost album and embark on a journey to find out what happened to Van Duren. As they dig deeper, they find themselves a part of the story.

After getting my BSME in mechanical engineering, I entered the corporate world for about 7 years before I finally realized the 9-5 desk job wasn't for me. Or rather it took that long to leave, I had it figured long before then. After doing all the "right things" I was still searching for more. I wanted to have a bigger impact, do more, and help people. I started Pleasant Podcasts as a side business using my audio engineering skills I learned through music to help podcasters.

Pleasant Podcasts started off as only editing podcast audio, but then grew from there. I owned a podcast studio in Naugatuck, CT, that recorded podcasts and other spoken word audio, but then the pandemic had other plans. So after a year of working from home doing my engineering job and business side by side, I was burned out and decided I needed to pick one. I choose myself.

I've done just about everything that has to do with podcasting, but now I focus on teaching others to podcast on their own. I also work 1:1 with a small number of people and businesses to individually help them launch and grow their shows. Oh and I'm a podcaster too, check out the my podcasts tab.
