The East Rock Record is leveling UP to match how news outlets are now operating + give students more journalism learning and exposure to writers, creators and thinkers!!

WHAT: The East Rock Record will have the same cutting-edge news and reporting, but ONE print issue (Feb. 15 publication party). It will have fun features and opinion pieces — and also publish ONLINE!

WHAT'S NEW: More journalism learning, including more sessions with special guests, including former ERR mentors who are now writing for national publications (Learn what it's like to do this as a job!). Plus more conversations with photojournalists, artists and creators. More variety of coverage (Do you want to create a puzzle or word game? Let's do it!! In the future: Could we add video?? Hear from TV reporters about how to write a script and put together "a package"??)

WHEN: Thursdays 2:30-4 p.m. as part of the East Rock After School Program (Calendar will account for Yale and NHPS breaks.)

​Students who are not appropriately dressed will not be allowed to participate in weekly pop-up events.

Athletic clothing (i.e.: tee-shirt & sweatpants) is allowed for physical education (PE), but must still abide by the colors listed above
