    Only place around I can find grits. And they are GOOD.

    I come here about once a year when I’m visiting family in Connecticut. It’s such a cute place. My waitress, (I think her name was Kendra) was SO nice and personable. Truly always feels like home when I get to come here for brunch. They have a ton of options and you can’t go wearing with any of them.

    We had breakfast at BPK and we enjoyed ourselves! Our server was SUPER nice and accommodating. She was friendly and professional. She accommodated the changes I wanted for the wrap and it came out correct! The food itself was good. It was reasonably priced and the portion was appropriate. I ordered the egg white and turkey bacon wrap and my husband ordered the biscuits & gravy. My wrap was good if you like something standard. It was a little oily. The biscuit was good too. I think a fun take on the traditional biscuits and gravy. I'd definitely go back to try other items! It was a cute restaurant with great service so I'd love to give more items a try :)

    Sally and Bob Dworetsky came in from New York City to stake a claim for themselves and opened the now iconic eatery in West Hartford Center.

    Sally and Bob retire after 14 years. Their daughter and son in law Rhonda and Ronnie Zieky took over, they successfully served the people of West Hartford.

    When current owners Helen Brower and Cesar Contreras took the reins, both had plenty of experience in the restaurant industry and wanted something for themselves. Every day, they continue the promise of great food and incredible service laid out by Sally, Bob, Rhonda, and Ronni, and the reputation built over the last decades. The community continues to grow up around them, bringing back the next generation of patrons to enjoy this family-focused favorite.
