The first time I remember picking up a camera was on a family vacation to the Grand Canyon when I was 8. It was a purple and pink film camera with a flip-up viewfinder (which was so awesome and totally 90’s). The photographs had a purple and pink hue to them- but I didn’t care. I fell in love. This memory still sticks with me like it was yesterday, and it was the paramount moment to spark my love for photography. I was in awe of what I had captured.
