We absolutely loved our short summer stay at the Lil Nauti cottage. It sounds odd to say, but the cottage had such nice features and great location that we left feeling spoiled. After a day at the beach, including walking out on the mile and a half long reef towards a local lighthouse, and then sunset kayaking, we so enjoyed coming back to hot outdoor showers. The indoor showers are also nice, but a shower overlooking the marsh is amazing. Having dietary restrictions, it was so nice to be able to make home cooked meals while on vacation. And we got to enjoy them overlooking the marsh as the sunset behind us, or enjoyed morning coffee watching it rise over the marsh. As the moon rose we’d retired indoors to play card games in the living room, and then ask Alexa to turn on the mood lighting, and play music, or ask her to turn on Hulu on the big screen. Some nights were spent like this, or making an adult smoothie and walking the beach, or heading out to one of like 5 local music ...

In 1932 our family bought the Lil Nauti Cottage, after narrowly being saved from a storm that swept many of its beach front neighbors into L.I. Sound, and with horse drawn carts moved it 1/4 mile inland to its current location. Three generations later, the rest is history!

This adorable fully furnished beachy cottage sleeps up to 10 related guests for summer rentals in 5 queen beds. Or can be set up for 4 or 5 academic year student renters! A flex room allows either the fifth queen bed, or it can be set up with a couch to serve as an extra hang out space for smaller groups of summer renters wanting a second separate living space for adult relaxation or kid’s play area.
