Please contact the Parish office if you know of a parishioner who is in the hospital, nursing home or is homebound and would like to receive communion and or a visit from a priest. Due to new hospital procedures, patient information is strictly regulated.

The Bishop’s Appeal directly supports the charitable ministries of the church, including those of Catholic Charities of Fairfield County. For over 100 years, Catholic Charities of Fairfield County has provided social services to the Fairfield County community. The agency’s mission is to help the needy and most vulnerable of all faiths to permanently improve their lives by providing supportive services that enable families to rise up out of poverty, overcome barriers, and achieve self-sufficiency and independence. With the increasing costs of food, housing, and gas, low-income, the demand for the agency’s services continues to skyrocket as clients need help now more than ever.

We worship every Sunday morning at 10:00am in person followed by Coffee Hour! We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. Olivet is wheelchair accessible. We are worshipping in the air-conditioned Pastor’s Office for the summer!

Olivet is a part of the United Church of Christ. We have been on the corner of North and Main in Bridgeport, CT since 1891 and continue to be an active presence in the community.
